About the Lunch & Learn

AFF is welcoming back Michael P McGillicuddy, LCSW and founder of the Untying Knots organization on September 24, 2023. His presentation at 10:45 AM in Fellowship Hall, “Polarization in Politics, Religion, and Culture: Navigating Divisive Topics: Discussion & Workshop, Michael P. McGillicuddy LCSW” includes lunch and a workshop for making discussion of divisive topics less difficult. Childcare will be provided
Mike ran two in-person workshops at our church in 2019 for Elders & Deacons and for the Congregation. The topic was “Not Changing Minds, but Softening Hearts.” Since then, we have a completely new roster of Elders and Deacons, and have had many requests to take up this topic after the pandemic and before the next presidential election.
