Advent Devotional: Those Who Dream
Art, reflections, and prompts for a season of dreaming. This devotional is for the dreamers in all of us – those who dream of a deeper connection with God and those who dream of a better world. It’s for those who dream of comfort and for those who have given up on their dreams. As you walk through these prompts and readings day by day, may you dream alongside prophets and angels, Mary and the Magi. Together, may we seek and sow God’s dreams for our world. Longest Night Taize Service

We have a tradition of gathering on the longest night, when there are more hours of darkness than light. Though we cannot be together this year, we are adding an element that will allow us to feel connected. We will be creating a lament wreath in the service and you can create one at home. Christmas Caroling with Clint – from your car!

Following right after the Joy Ride Advent Scavenger Hunt, come to the Deerpath Parking Lot for a Caroling Party led by Pastor Clint with Susan Noble and Dr. Barry Wenger on organ! Using the church’s FM station (90.5), we will be joyfully singing your favorite selection of songs and carols of the season. Hot chocolate and caramel corn will be provided at your car window!
A Christmas Concert – online!

Join the musicians and friends of First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest as they present a virtual concert filled with Christmas Joy! This concert will be recorded and debut on Wednesday, December 23 at 7:00 PM on the church website, FirstChurchLF.org. It will also be accessible on YouTube and Facebook.
