About Yehuda Jacobi:

Yehuda’s interest in religion started at age twelve when he attended a Catholic seminary for five years. In 1981, Yehuda moved to Norfolk, Virginia, with the goal of studying Edgar Cayce at the Association for Research and Enlightenment in Virginia Beach. He met the late Rev. Cathy Mannino and studied Spiritualism under her guidance. He was ordained as a Spiritualist minister by Rev. Alice Miller in Norfolk, VA. After returning to Chicago, he attended a class in Kabballah. He then met and married a Jewish man who taught him the concepts of Judaism, to which he converted. Yehuda has compiled some of his sermons and devotions into his first book, Precious Scars: My Journey to Freedom through Forgiveness. Precious Scars won an award for Best Memoir in 2014 from the NABE (National Association of Book Entrepreneurs). Yehuda draws on his experiences using the memoir style of writing, which is personal, introspective, and sometimes intense. His intent is to stimulate the read to think differently about their personal lives.
